Why Members Join
Most contractors are missing one of these three things. Members get all three on day one — and they compound over time.

Hear directly from our Founder about what Contractors of Colorado is, who it’s built for, and why it was created for Colorado contractors.
01 — BBB Accreditation
Your membership includes full BBB accreditation, giving you access to 140 million users searching for trusted businesses, verified customer reviews, and the BBB badge you can put on your truck, website, and proposals. Most contractors never get accredited. You will.
02 — Directory + Community Reach
Your business is listed in our statewide directory and promoted to a 24,000-member Facebook community and 12,000-subscriber newsletter. That is consistent visibility without running a single ad.
03 — CRM System
Your membership includes access to a contractor-specific CRM that automates follow-ups, appointment reminders, and marketing campaigns. Built on GoHighLevel, it works while you are on the job site.

Got Questions?
Membership bills monthly with no long-term contract required. That said, our expectation is that you'll stick around for at least a year and we're confident you will, because most members see the value quickly. The BBB accreditation and directory listing alone tend to pay for themselves in SEO value. If you do choose to leave, just know that canceling your membership also cancels your BBB accreditation, since that's covered under the membership.
You can cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. We'd genuinely hate to see you go, we're constantly adding new benefits and improving the experience — but we're not going to make it difficult to leave. No gotchas.
No setup fees, no hidden costs. Everything listed as a member benefit is included in the $149/month membership rate. The one exception is if you want to go deeper with the GoHighLevel CRM, advanced done-for-you automations and AI agents are available as an upgrade, but everything listed as a member benefit is fully covered at the standard membership rate.
Honestly, this membership might benefit you more than anyone. When you're building a reputation from scratch, having BBB accreditation, a verified directory listing, a CRM to manage your leads, dedicated sales and marketing lessons, and a private network of trade professionals gives you an immediate edge that most new operators don't have. There's genuinely nothing else on the market for trades that bundles all of this together at this price point.
Yes, and members in smaller markets often see strong results because there's less competition for their trade in their area within the directory. Our network spans the entire state — from Southern Colorado up to Fort Collins, over to Grand Junction, and everywhere in between. Homeowners and fellow members across Colorado are actively looking to connect with verified trade professionals. Most of the benefits are also digital, so your location doesn't limit what you can access.
Traditional trade associations are built around advocacy, licensing, and compliance. We're built around business growth — leads, visibility, credibility, and marketing tools. We were the first organization to directly partner with the Better Business Bureau, we operate a 24,000-member private Facebook community for blue-collar professionals, we've integrated advanced AI into our communications and member tools, and we host private events with the largest collection of trade professionals in Colorado. Our membership also includes marketing and sales lessons you can implement immediately. There's nothing else like it on the market for trades, which is why hundreds of contractors have already joined.
When you complete your membership application, we automatically sync your information with the Better Business Bureau. In most cases the process is seamless — if BBB needs any additional information from you they'll reach out directly, and our team stays in communication with them throughout. You do not pay for BBB separately, it's fully included in your $149/month membership. The only variation is for businesses with more than 10 employees, where membership options may differ slightly, but we'll work with you hand-in-hand to make sure you get the full benefit.
The CRM is built on GoHighLevel, a platform designed to be straightforward for business owners, not software engineers. It helps you track leads, automate follow-up reminders, manage your pipeline, and run basic marketing campaigns so jobs don't fall through the cracks. We provide onboarding support and learning resources inside the member portal, and most members are up and running quickly. If you want to go deeper with advanced automations or AI agents, that's available as an upgrade.
Every month we select two members to be featured on the Contractors of Colorado Podcast — you don't have to do anything to be considered. When it's your turn, we'll reach out to schedule your interview. We fully produce the episode, clip it into short-form social media content, deliver the clips directly to you, and post the episode in our 24,000-member Facebook community. It's genuine exposure with no effort required on your end beyond showing up for the conversation.
Not long at all. Once you pay and become a member, you'll receive an email with next steps to complete your profile. After you fill that out, your BBB accreditation is typically completed within a week and you'll have immediate access to all member benefits from day one — the portal, CRM, directory listing, and everything else. You can log back in at any time to add photos, update service descriptions, and improve your listing.
A few ways to see for yourself before you even join: our private Facebook community has 24,000 members and is actively engaged daily. Our in-person events regularly draw hundreds of contractors across three Colorado locations every month. And many of the membership benefits — BBB accreditation, directory listing, CRM, marketing lessons, branded materials — deliver value completely independently of community engagement. The community is a bonus on top of tangible tools that work whether or not you're an active participant.
Absolutely. You can reach out to Cooper, Andrew, or anyone on the Contractors of Colorado team directly. You can also engage with our AI-powered assistant on the website for quick answers. For general questions, the best email to reach us is [email protected]. We're a real team — not an automated funnel — and we're happy to have a straight conversation about whether this membership makes sense for your business before you commit to anything.
